Become a ROLDA #Ambassador
With a donation of just 26$, ROLDA can sterilize a dog or a cat, which will save hundreds of unwanted litters from being born unwanted. But if people don’t know how far 26$ can go for animals, they cannot help.
A tiny Romanian dog with a severe eye injury that couldn’t be saved, despite all the vet’s efforts.
Buffy’s family couldn’t pay the vet bill and ROLDA stepped in to cover this, but in the end, people refused to take home the poor dog because she remained with only one eye.
Do Ambassadors make a difference? Yes! Absolutely!
When you spend just 3 minutes reaching out to people, even if it’s just one person, you are starting a chain reaction of new ROLDA supporters that can save hundreds, or even thousands, of dogs.
When you spend even less than 3 minutes to reach out people, even if it’s only one person, you are starting a chain reaction of new ROLDA supporters that can save hundreds, even thousands of animals in need.
When you commit to spreading the word about ROLDA work, you are helping homeless and abandoned animals get:
We humans are hard to please. We want so much and are never satisfied. We often don’t appreciate what we have because we are blinded by desire and greed. Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to make ourselves happy. Dogs are so much purer. All they want is someone to love and care for them. Someone who can give them shelter, food, companionship, and attention. Dogs are very easy to please, and it takes very little to make them happy. Dogs Are Grateful for Everything We Give Them! We are Their World, Their Everything!
On the grounds of an old and deserted factory plot in Galati, Romania, a wounded stray dog struggles to survive. He wanders around this rocky and dusty land with a mutilated paw. It is a grisly open wound that has been carved out by flesh-eating maggots.
Even though Doina was someone’s pet, she was never given a name. It was us who named her Doina when her family brought her to us after their other dog (who is more than twice her size) bit off her left eye. The family informed us that they could not afford to pay for Doina’s surgery and no longer wanted her.
Cookie spent years in ROLDA shelter and nobody wanted to adopt him. He got used to sheltering routine and survived, exactly like he did on the streets before we rescue him. Cookie is a senior dog and with a shelter full of cute pups, not many people give a chance to a senior.
After adopting Honey from our shelters in 2012, Corinna has divided her time between caring for Honey and spreading the word about ROLDA and the plight of stray dogs in Romania.
Corinna is an important part of our team that raises awareness about ROLDA and its mission around the world.
Corinna is just one person, but her volunteer work for ROLDA has saved thousands of animals. She has inspired family, friends, coworkers, students, seniors, and strangers across the globe to get involved with the ROLDA community.
But Corinna needs more fellow ambassadors to help spread the word about ROLDA’s work. One ROLDA ambassador has the potential to reach hundreds, even thousands of people — that means you can get so many new supporters to help us save more animals in need.
“Our ambassadors come from all walks of life, but we share one thing in common: We refuse to stand by and silently allow animal abuse to continue. Change may be slow, but change is coming. We’re working to make sure it’s a change for the better, and we want you to be a part of the process!
Everyone has obligations, and we all struggle to juggle work and family life. We’re not asking for a 24/7 commitment. Spending just a few minutes a day as an animal ambassador for ROLDA, you’ll get a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction that is second to none in little time. You’ll be contributing to help save thousands of homeless animals who are suffering on the streets.
Each person makes a huge difference. We can’t wait to welcome you to our team! Just indulge us for three minutes of your time, and we’ll show you how you can be an influential voice for defenseless animals.
Together we can give hope!”
— Corinna, Head Ambassador of ROLDA
