The ROLDA Rescue Team is an incredibly dedicated and growing group of supporters from around the world. They make regular contributions, no matter how small, to support our efforts in southeastern Romania, a region close to the Ukrainian border that faces significant economic challenges.

Funds raised from monthly contributions enable us to provide food and medical care to dogs and cats already housed at ROLDA, feed packs of dogs, sterilize pets from poor communities, do minor repairs and maintenance work to keep shelter safe, help other rescuers in nearby cities in Romania or animals affected by the war in Ukraine.
⇒ 400 monthly donors giving $20 will help us keep the small shelter, which has operated continuously since 2003 and has already enabled hundreds of dogs to go to happy homes across the world.
⇒ 150 monthly donors giving $10 will enable us to buy cat food for all the senior and disabled residents of our cattery.
⇒ 80 monthly donors giving just $5 will enable us to provide 960 high-nutrient meals.
⇒ 20 monthly donors giving $15 will vaccinate 750 dogs and protect them against lethal diseases.
⇒ Each monthly donor can choose between covering food, deworming treatment, or vaccination (or all of these) or becoming a sponsor for a dog or cat rescued by the ROLDA team.

Since ROLDA became a registered charity back in 2006, we have managed to keep the administration costs at a minimum without compromising our quality of care and spend each year over 90% of the total budget — which includes your contributions — on direct costs for animals and investments for their wellbeing.
