Lisa from ROLDA Sverige’ board adopted Farina and also transported other adopted dogs home.
A new plot of land purchased to build the refuge for donkeys and horses and expand the large shelter.

Volunteers’ delegation from Sweden visited the sanctuaries and returned home with 3 adopted dogs.

5000 Acacia trees planted on the new land, in the vicinity of the large shelter, to surround with a natural barrier the place where the sanctuary for donkeys and horses will be built.

Rescue our first donkey, Ben
Repair work at the 1sh shelter finished. As a result, our dogs have an upgraded paddock – clean, cozy and well maintained.
First Real Life room for dogs built in Romania has 3 separations where our staff can evaluate a dog behavior away from the noise and agitation which often a shelter is about.
The rooms still need furniture. Location: 2nd shelter.
Campaign addressed to airline companies to stop the transport of wild trophies.

The 1st shelter has a new fencing and auto gate.
New rescue van has been purchased to replace the van crashed last year in a horrible accident.
ROLDA Germany e.V. became incorporated charity.
4 paddocks of the 2nd shelter need capital repairs. This year we successfully repaired one of the 4 paddocks.
Complete repairs will offer high-quality life to all our dogs.

This is how a kennel looks now – imagine how lovely it will be when all kennels will have heating lamps and outdoor spaces for dogs’ running?
More trees were planted to secure the natural wind barrier around the 2nd shelter area. Also, additional Paulownia trees have been planted inside the shelter garden.
Swiss team visited our sanctuaries and returned home with 8 adopted dogs.
Four lucky dogs arrived in UK.
The Association ROLDA Suisse president ad vice-president, together with 2 volunteers visited our shelters and left to Switzerland with 12 adopted dogs.
A young filming crew from Sweden visit the shelters to create a documentary about Romanian dogs plight. Part of this documentary refers to ROLDA activity.
