Your donation takes us one step closer to building our first cattery. This cat sanctuary will enable us to provide shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation to all cats we rescue.

ROLDA has been helping cats in its community for 16 wonderful years 🎉🎈 thanks to patrons like you! However, we have not been able to provide long-term care to cats with permanent disabilities or who require extensive rehabilitation or are too old to be adopted because we don’t have a cattery.

We have been using a foster care system in Tulcea for these cats, but our goal is to provide shelter and treatment ourselves, as we do for our 700 dogs. Sometimes cats need special surgery or therapy, and we must send them as far as Bucharest to ensure they get the proper care, as we did for Joshua.

Joshua was rescued from a shipyard. He had severe injuries on his back legs that left him unable to walk. X-rays showed that his spine had also been affected. Joshua needed surgery to reposition his vertebrae and his back legs. He is currently at the Trauma Vet Clinic in Bucharest, where he is receiving treatment and rehabilitation that will hopefully help him walk again.

ROLDA would not exist without you, and the hundreds of cats we have helped over the years have been because of your support. Now, we are one step closer to providing more cats with better and more accessible care right here at ROLDA.
