Dear [name],

Thank you for your generous donation, which placed you directly into the ROLDA PAWs pack!

If you’re wondering what PAWs stands for, it means Partners in Animal Welfare, and that’s exactly who you are to us, an incredible supporter. With your help, our rescue work across the globe can continue, including in areas such as the Ukraine where ROLDA is dealing with a region of war and turmoil. Your dedication and compassion make a world of difference. Thank you for being such a vital part of our mission.

Each day, we are grateful to have compassionate supporters like you who take time out of their day to read about our activities and find it in their hearts to help suffering animals thousands of miles away.

Because of your kindness, ROLDA can:
● Provide food and medical care to hundreds of dogs saved from abuse and the dangers of the streets;
● Give hundreds of dogs, and dozens of senior and disabled cats, a safe place to live;
● Say yes to every dog and cat who needs urgent medical care;
● Give dogs rescued from puppy mills a second chance at adoption across Europe;
● Provide emergency kits to local rescuers when disaster strikes.

Every day, our staff help dogs overcome physical and emotional trauma and grow into confident, happy companions ready for loving homes. You are a part of every one of those journeys.

Looking ahead
Our biggest dream is the PawzUp Center, a one-of-a-kind center dedicated to the bond between people and animals. It will offer animal-assisted therapy for people, rehabilitation for frightened and abused animals, veterinary care, training, education programs, and shelter for dogs, cats, and farm animals. It will be built brick by brick with the help of supporters like you.

While we work through the approvals needed to begin PawzUp construction, we’re moving forward on another important project: transforming the shelter where ROLDA began into Romania’s first cage-free facility for dogs. It’s a giant step toward dogs being treated as family members and seeing the world without cold iron bars. The renovation will also include a sensory garden to help shy and abused dogs heal, plus four studios for short-term volunteers.

See the progress at Shelter 1

You are the reason more animals are being saved in Romania and beyond. We hope you’ll continue to stand with us, and we’ll keep working every day to earn your trust.

With heartfelt thanks,
Kaitlin
