Please help the rescue team save as many animals as possible before it’s too late. Your donation today could save a life that is still waiting to be found.
After the earthquakes,
the dogs and cats in Venezuela struggle to survive.
Some continue to be trapped under ruins, and just like their owners they have lost everything in seconds.
Sadly, many have lost the families who loved them, and the place they used to call home.
ROLDA is supporting a comprehensive care operation conducted by local organizations for pets impacted by the double earthquakes of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 that struck Venezuela on June 24.
We are helping local organizations like La Manada de Bethoven whose team is already on the ground helping animals affected by this tragedy. We have already rushed emergency funding, and it is already being used to get food, water and urgent help to animals caught in this disaster.
But the crisis is far from over.
Every day more frightened dogs and cats are found wandering through devastated communities, injured, hungry and alone. With nowhere safe to go, they depend on local rescuers who refuse to leave them behind. But without urgent support, many animals may never be reached in time.
Your support can help us reach more animals before it is too late.
Together we can deliver emergency food and clean water, rescue frightened dogs and cats, provide urgent veterinary care for those injured and bring vulnerable animals to safety.
Every donation gives our rescue teams the resources they need to save lives when every minute matters.
Every passing hour can mean the difference between life and death for an injured animal waiting alone in the ruins.
“A Day of Hair” — La Manada de Bethoven’s Charity Event Success and Heartfelt Gratitude
On September 27, 2026, La Manada de Bethoven held a charity event, “A Day of Hair, Together for La Guaira,” at El Recreo Shopping Center in Caracas, Venezuela. The event aimed to raise funds to support the shelter’s ongoing rescue work, specialized veterinary care, and food supplies for vulnerable animals.
Featuring puppy yoga, dance therapy, a dog gymkhana, live music, and adoptions, the event was reported to be a success, drawing many attendees and resulting in numerous adoptions. It was sponsored and supported by several partners, including ROLDA. To thank ROLDA for their support at the event, we were asked to give a brief summary of our charity. Here’s what the CEO of La Manada de Bethoven had to say:
On behalf of La Manada de Bethoven and myself, I want to express our sincere thanks for sharing this wonderful and inspiring summary of ROLDA. I have really been left speechless.
There is no doubt that ROLDA’s work, its trajectory of almost two decades and such exemplary projects as the “Little Haven” Sanctuary and the PawzUp Center are a true model and inspiration for those of us who work every day for animal welfare. We feel deep gratitude and admiration for everything you do globally. We feel really fortunate and deeply proud to have you. You are a great example to follow.
With great pleasure and honor, we will be mentioning this great review during our great event, which we are preparing with so much love and enthusiasm. With all the love, we will be sharing videos and photographs of what we will experience that day so that you can accompany us from a distance.
A big hug from the whole team and our furry friends. Here we go, step by step, making this wonderful event a reality with such a beautiful purpose.
Again, thank you so much for all your support!
With much love and admiration,
Dayana Parra, Director and Representative
After the event, Dayana wrote us these heartfelt words:
am writing to you with a heart full of joy to share that our event was simply beautiful and filled with wonderful energy from start to finish.
We are immensely happy and grateful to have had ROLDA’s support on this very special day. During the event, we spoke of you with the great pride and respect you deserve for the extraordinary work you do.
We congratulated Dayana and La Manada de Bethoven on their successful event and were glad to play a small part. Everyone at ROLDA is grateful to have connected with this amazing charity after the June earthquakes. They were easy to find, given their reputation and the respect they’ve earned for their work in Venezuela.
We continue to wish La Manada de Bethoven and Dayana all the best as they work to rescue and rebuild in the aftermath of a devastating natural disaster that claimed many lives.
