Beth
Hi! My name is Beth and I am the US Operations Assistant. I bring 30 years of administrative experience to ROLDA and am happy to use my skills to assist animals in need. I have two sons, three cats of my own and several outside strays that I take care of as well. In my spare time, I enjoy baking and gardening, specifically old English roses, zinnias and dahlias. I also enjoy Atlanta Braves baseball and University of Georgia football games.

Hi, my name is Danny, and I’ve been working with ROLDA since 2015. I was just starting as a copywriter, and I wanted to help an animal charity with my passion for writing. A year before I began with ROLDA, my German Shepherd, Zippo, was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy, a progressive spinal cord disease that causes hind limb weakness and paralysis. For nearly two years, I watched as each day Zippo lost more of his ability to walk, and it was heartbreaking. Thankfully, he was not in any pain, and he fought until his last day to stay strong and happy. Even in his final moments, Zippo showed me how grateful he was to be in my life, and I hope that I showed him the same. He was my best friend for nearly 15 years until his passing late in 2015. Our bond and Zippo’s courage inspired me to write for ROLDA, to help rescue animals find loving homes and friends, just as he had. I am so thankful to be a part of the ROLDA team and for the opportunity to help the animals they rescue, even if only remotely and through words. Zippo was not a rescue, but whenever I get writer’s block or feel low on inspiration, I reflect on our friendship and hope that my loving memories of him turn into inspirational words that give hope to animals in need. It’s been amazing to watch ROLDA grow and expand because it means they’ll be able to help many more animals for many, many years to come!

Diane
Development Manager
Diane
Hi, my name is Diane, and I bring a lifelong devotion to animals. This is rooted in my early years of wildlife rehabilitation, inspired by my grandmother, who was always saving and rehabilitating wildlife. I've always been passionate about adopting rescues, and I have many living with me currently. I bring several years of professional fundraising experience to the ROLDA USA team. I'm excited to unite my hands-on compassion for animals with strategic work in donor relations and community support. When I'm not working, I am most at home in nature and in my garden, working to establish pollinator-friendly and native plants. I'm also exploring my artistic side in the mediums of pottery, watercolor, and fused glass.

Mary Frances
Donor Relations Manager
Mary Frances
I have worked with ROLDA as a Donor Relations Manager in the United States for years. I enjoy helping ROLDA supporters, who are passionate and committed to ROLDA’s mission. My background is in public relations and for the last 20 years I have helped dozens of non-profits achieve their goals. I have also worked for Exxon, Bristol Myers Squibb and the Hearst Corporation, among others. I have advised corporations about what charities they should support. ROLDA is unique as it is one of the only charities helping animals in Ukraine. People are motivated to support these animals. I have spoken with many donors who are happy to contribute to this effort. I look forward to continuing my work with ROLDA and speaking with donors. ROLDA is a groundbreaking charity and deserves the public’s support.
