How long is a dog life? Maybe 10 years or more, maybe less. But how a dog feels his life passing by? Dogs live in present, this is one of their numerous qualities. Dogs are ready to put aside the painful past and enjoy the present like they discovered “quality living” for the first time.

Dogs born in freedom and living all their lives on the streets accept with difficulty a life in kennels. Numerous people complain because dogs presence on the streets, but for the dog itself taking him the freedom and placing his in a cell it’s a punishment.

A longer discussion can be the conditions provided in Romanian shelters, most of them deplorable ruins.

Humans companions abandoned on the streets are many and every case has behind a traumatizing experience in a dog life. Often dogs become depressed, refuse the food, die when being dispensed like a trash. This category of dogs get a freedom which they don’t like because they once had a fulfilled life, being around and pleasing a person. Suddenly their world fall apart.

Dogs severely abused by people learn hard to trust again or to accept humans’ presence.

Despite harsh conditions, ROLDA transforms each rescue stray , at a time, no matter how long it takes, into a perfect companion. Each dog should benefit of the comfort of a home where he should feel loved, wanted!

ROLDA succesfully rehomes rescue dogs  in USA, UK, Holland, Norway, Sweden and Germany.

Note:
We know that millions animals are put to sleep in shelters all over the World, therefore we encourage you to act local and only if you are madly in love of a Romanian rescue stray to continue the adoption process.
