After January 2012, every ROLDA supporter donating 5 US$ up (to any ROLDA campaign or project) will receive in the mail this special cube, a little souvenir from us.

It can be used as an office or home décor, or a present box if you want to surprise a friend, a colleague…it is also a valuable way to promote our charity work.

Note: When you donate over 5 US$ and wish more special cubes, please specify in your email how many cubes to send to you.

Purchase a van and a mobile caravan to assist smaller shelters in Romania

RAISED SO FAR: (first update February 2012)

The van will be used to carry dogs ready for adoption to Bucharest airport from shelters that don’t have the transport possibility. When needed, the van will carry the caravan equipped to provide veterinary assistance and sterilizations on different locations in Romania.

Better shelter. Happier dogs

RAISED SO FAR: (first update February 2012)

ROLDA needs to raise about 10000 EUR (or 13500 US$) to purchase a small plot of land near the large shelter,  plus about 5000 EUR (or 6800 US$)  to enclose each of the six running spaces. Please read more about this project.

Free sterilizations in Smardan village

In collaboration with City Hall Smardan and Dr. Andrei, the sterilization program will start January 2012 for dogs from people yard, for dogs abandoned in or at the edge of Smardan village. Dogs will be ear tagged after sterilization.

Natural shelter for unadoptable, shy, senior dogs

RAISED SO FAR: 400 US$ (Facebook cause)

ROLDA plans to purchase a big piece of land, approx 40-60ha of forest and pasture, hopefully with a natural source of water. After being fenced and secured, this forest shelter will become the forever home for  the dogs which cannot be rehomed for various reasons, and here they will enjoy freedom, living in controlled packs, supervised by caretakers and a vet technician.

Artwork to fundraise ROLDA

Our friends Dee and her sister, after adopting the first 5 dogs (including a disabled, difficult to handle small princess), in between the paper work process, surprised us with a generous idea:
Dee and Sherry are artists and they kindly offered to paint dogs portraits to raise funds for ROLDA dogs. If you adopt from ROLDA, you will get your doggy portrait for a special price. All collected funds goes to our dogs in Romania.

If you have a dog adopted from other shelter, you can help ROLDA work by ordering a portrait of your dog to be made by our friends artists Dee and Sherry.

You will encourage talented girls to paint what they madly love: the dogs, while you will feel good for helping our voiceless little souls.
