More than RESPECT.  More than COMPASSION.
RESPONSIBILITY!

One of the phone calls we continuously receive sounds like: 

"I must leave the town to work abroad for at least six months.  I have two poodle girls.  One is 10 years old and the other one is 7 years old.  If you don't take them into your shelter,  I will release them on streets!"

Many appeals and such phone calls are variations of the same theme.  Abandonment of animals, even if illegal,  occurs all over the country! 

Ignorance and irresponsibility make a huge challenge of rehoming street dogs with Romanian families.  The biggest problem is that many people lead unstable lives and are unwilling or unable to assume lifelong responsibility for an animal!

Dana's diary: Rescue work at ROLDA

This is a brief description of the hard work and amazing efforts that ROLDA team does to help as many dogs as possible, being rescue, treated, sterilized and re-homed.
May it was a busy and great month, so please take a look, get to know our struggles and be part of our team. We need volunteers all year round,and supporters to accomplish more!

Events Organized for the Youngest Locals Who Cares

1 JUNE – LOCAL EDUCATIVE EVENTS

Organized in partnership with Cuky’s and Viata Libera –the best local newspaper – these events are a small part of ROLDA education campaign- to raise awareness about the importance of pets in our lives.
